Located in the heart of downtown Astoria, The Columbian Theater is a living piece of history, providing a unique source of entertainment for over a century. The Columbian started as a live vaudeville theater in 1925, built shortly after the great Astoria fire of 1923, and quickly became the cultural hub it remains today. The theater has seen many iterations over the years, movie theater, roller-rink, and professional wrestling arena are all rolls the theater has played in the small costal town of Astoria. Today the tradition continues, with the theater providing a classic independent cinema experience, and live music events.
